Here is a picture of the big un (or at least one of the big ones) in Olvers. It was 35lb when I caught it in April 2011 and I believe it has since been out at 39lb. It has a distinctive "M" scar on its left flank and is female (as it was full of spawn when caught at the higher weight). I always think of her as Big Mac because of the marking. Anyway it might help with future identification and it restores my one claim to angling fame (as the picture was on the old website which was shut down).

Hi Jesus,

That's a very nice capture sir...:-)

Do you have any more images of fish from Olvers lake that you are willing to share with us?

I'm not on the premium ticket yet but hoping 2014 will bring the offer :-)
Thanks
Alan

God bless you my son! Here's another one from Olvers? It's a distinctively marked 27lber (looks like it's been bitten by a vampire) and my third biggest from this lake. I've also had a 28lber but no other 30's yet, although I've heard of a few being caught. I like the photo as it seems well taken (thanks Nick!) and it's always nice to catch a big one on a sunny day. I have no idea why they call me Jesus though!
