LOL, mainline cell although I have been tweeking my hookbaits :-)

Recently though a friend of mine has been producing bait for me which I have found to be very good quality at half the price and had instant results on redhouse...the base flavour is chilli and garlic..it caught first session out with it on redhouse :-), the bait also caught some fish from Clumber park for me this year

I have recently been getting Red Liver off him too but its not really a winter bait, it catches but for better results he is now rolling me 5k of nut based as I type this.

Do you find it easier to wade out to place your bait? As I've seen a lot of people doing this on redhouse?

I cant say that I have caught from wading out, I do know that a few of the lads have caught by doing so on the shallows/peekaboo and the point. Ill be honest with you, all my fish have come from within 30 yards of a bank. Even had them from right in close next to the reeds :-)

Never done anything at distance but that's not to say they are not catchable from the middle
