Cheers Addo,
it's a pity about Grimleys as it's such a nice little place, so I think I'll be coming around yours and having a go at your feeding fish !! cheers

I was begining to think it was just me... I went to Grimley's 18th and 26th March, 3 bites & 2 fish 1st time, nothing next! Though there were a few large fish rolling at the surface now and then which gives me hope there is something in there. The wires were a problem last time as it was very windy; my Polaris landed dead centre but the wind looped my line over a bit of plastic and that was that  Some of the 'lanes' are very narrow now. It's also unfortunate that when I'm sat there I feel I'm looking across the top of a landfil site even more so now. A more asthetically acceptable way of scaring the Shag has to be found. A significant part of the experience is the enjoyment of the suroundings. Are the wires a permanent thing or until the fish get to a certain size or what? There's obviously been a lot of hard work done to keep the fish in the pond so thanks for that. Hopefully we'll start to get 'into' them soon.

Had a walk around Grimleys today and saw that the smaller of the two ponds now has pegs put in. Does anyone know if it has been or is too be restocked. Earlier this year it was weeded up and looked very "poorly", but now it's been cleaned up and with the pegs looks the part, but doesit/will it be the part ?
