Trent and Mersey Canal

In an effort to get the Forum moving again on fishing matters.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for some good areas of the canal and methods to use - during the closed season for rivers.
I have found the parking spot at Findern and the car park at Stenson Bubble Inn sounds easy enough to find.
The website mentions two lock up car parks but I can only find the one at Stenson mentioned in the ticket.

There is another lock up car park down Deepdale lane, where the road runs alongside the canal, its just over the bridge on the bend below The Wragley Boat Stop pub. There is also parking along the same stretch at the opposite end of the canalside road, just past the bridge on the left. hope this helps. regards Jon

Thanks Jon - have found Deepdale Lane and the pub on the map linked to this site - will have a drive around the parking spots in the Findern - Stenson and Barrow areas next week and check out some likely looking fishing spots - Cheers - Steve
