Still Waters

The “Pride of Derby” has available to its members approximately 55 acres of stillwater. The waters are ex gravel pits, natural ponds and an old river course, they offer a variety of fishing to suit all. The following notes explain the local name for each individual stillwater with its location and type of fish to be caught and of course the access arrangements.

In the areas of the still waters known as Poysers Pond, Grimshaws Lake, Olvers Lake, Pride lake and the Ully Gully we have 3 units of clean Toilet facilities located for the use of the members.
