After the last bout of floods we are taking the following actions
Shooters Lodge is being raised end Aug beginning of Sept – So for short periods of time the carpark will be out of action.
We are also erecting permanent fencing between lakes to stop fish transfer, this will also happen this year.
As well as other measures to try and reduce the amount of time we spend closed during floods. As we are a flood plain we cannot stop the flooding but can try and manage it more effectively.
We started fish stocking a couple of years ago, it has been decided to make this a yearly program. The next delivery will be late 2024 early 25.
Times for carpark closures will be updated nearer the time and any other relevant information 👍
