Sorry you feel this way Jimbob but we sell tickets – which we class as standard tickets which cover all the fishing we have on the Rivers – Canals and lakes other than Pride Lake and Olvers Lake which are premium tickets.

When we sell a standard ticket as you say cheaply it is for anglers wishing to fish on all of our waters not a specific water which i assume you mean as Grimshaws. If we only sold tickets on the basis of the number of fishing positions we have we would have to increase the ticket price 10 fold or be unable to generate the cash required to run the club – if a water become popular then fishing places must be on a first come first served basis -“this is not a syndicate system” – it is fact of life that you cannot always get the peg you want on the water you want.
This is possibly why anglers are willing to wait for the Premium ticket which for the additional price paid you more often than not get a peg where you want or very near to it.

    Hi Jimbob,

That’s pretty much fishing across the board, carp angling has grown a huge amount in 20 years and everybody wants to get on the banks. Its busy because they are good waters for the area and I’m afraid its either fish mid week or get there before everybody else on a friday..IMO the better option is to fish redhouse 🙂

Cant see why anybody wouldn’t want to wait for the premium ticket, id had mine two months and caught 7 20’s and a 30!! Best things come to those who wait 🙂 and it took me 5 years….just gotta hang in there mate I’m afraid.
