I know Redhouse is more of a carp water but I was wondering if anyone knew what the stocks of silverfish and Perch were like in there? Has anyone seen any decent silverfish about? Thanks in advance.

Hi Simon. We are unsure of the silver fish stocks due to previous flooding from the Trent. However there has been a Bream Recorded at
19Ib-10oz, this was approx. 5 years ago, there has also been a reported Perch out around the same time at 5Ib-03oz, Unfortunately no photo's are available, but the catches were witnessed. Regards Ian

I fish redhouse regularly and we were only saying the other day how little silver fish you see. In the summer there's obviously the small fry, but never really anything else. I've not fished for them myself so I can't say what it's like to actually to try and catch them.
I know there are pike and perch in there still, but again size wise I can't comment. Plenty of people go spinning around there, which I know because last week some inconsiderate sole started casting directly into where I was fishing.
