Hi guys
Thanx for the info Alan
Being new to the club, or should I say only joining this season, I have no idea about the names of the pegs around Redhouse.
I do know the spot you call Catfish Corner, but I'm totally out of it when it comes to the rest of the names.
Is there any chance of sticking a map up with names on?
Being a walking disabled angler, I obviously cannot walk to far to reach pegs, but it would be nice to know what you are all talking about when you mention names like Ambush Bay.
Just a thought
Andy

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your reply, yes if you bare with I will generate a image but please consider that the swim names are some that I have made up for my own recognition and some are known quite well amongst other anglers on redhouse :-)

Regards,
Alan

1. The Point (speaks for itself and a good swim, control a lot of water from here without other anglers fishing on top of you)
2. Stump peg (Only done a quite overnighter in here, apparently if you fish straight out it's clear of snags but not confirmed as I fished under the rod tips)
3. Trent Bay Swim (Good peg and I have know some and had captures from this swim, not good if someone's in 4)
4. Pebble Beach (Known a couple of captures come from this swim casting towards the shallows but can be weedy in front of shallows...fish do visit the big tree in the corner :-))
5. Peekaboo (A lot of fish have been caught from this area and the next peg up towards the shallows)
6. Pride Corner (never fished it and not known any fish to come from here but that doesn't mean it don't produce)
7. High Bank (known a fish to come from here, apparently a plateau at about 80 yards out but I have not confirmed yet)
8. Catfish Corner as most know, don't know why as I have only know the catfish to come from other areas :-)

The red area is where I assume the snags to be but I have not confirmed this but most anglers that have seen the snags before they where cut to a lower hight say they run in this area of the lake 30 - 40 yards from the bank?

Hope this helps :-)
