Hi Dan, looks like it's just me-un-the. Cant say much about Redhouse really. As you can see no one says anything.
I have been a member for a few years now and have done the Redhouse thing and had no carp todate.
Yes it's a hard water but through ill health I have not given it the benefit of the doubt over the last two seasons.
I have fished the Trent bank, at the stump awim and a couple of longish sessions at catfish corner. I have
had a few bream some of them well into double figures, but as I say, no carp.
As a disabled angler I am left the only swim I can fish, due to the roadway being reinstated that is catfish corner.
I have always fished the margin/drop off shelf and will only cast at distance to showing fish but sightings
are a bit rare. As there are very few catches I would assume there is an abundance of naturals in the water, weedy
in places and as always you would think if you get bream it's just a matter of time before the carp?
With this mild weather continuing I will probably get in one last session before the winter sets in.
If you see me on the bank come say Hi and share a brew, you wont miss me, small white van and big bivvy, you
will see what I mean by big when you see it. Jeff

Well Dan, as you come into the place where the barrier is, just to the left you have " beach ". Further
up on the bank closest tp Pride/ Olvers you got " peek-a-boo " that's set in the trees. as you come round the road you have " Trent Bank "
Then you round the corner up to the swim with the lopped tree leaving just a trunk at the edge of the water, that
is called " Stump ". Further along you get the point which you can fish either side of the lake because the land juts out in a narrow strip and
almost splits the lake in two. Then right at the end where the last corner you can reach by road, that is "Catfish corner "
Jeff.

Have you heard of or seen anything come out lately? I don't know anything about the stock in there other than what has been said on here.

No one really knows. There are people who have seen quite a few carp during spawning. I have
seen photos of three separate fish from three different anglers most impressive largest being almost forty Lbs
