We are pleased to advise that we have today completed the purchase of an area of land and fishing rights on the River Trent behind the Harrington Arms Sawley.
The area at present is in a very poor state and will require a lot of work to make presentable – we hope very soon we will be able to fit our lock to the gate at the back of the Harrington Arms car park for vehicle access and parking.
In the man time you are welcome to use the fishing in this section which extends from above the caravan
(which is a wreck) to the Tamworth road bridge. We will be making improvements to this section in due course which will include a parking area and clear access ways to the river bank.
