On Friday 22nd April we are to net the Poysers pond and remove the larger carp and put into Pride Lake – also at the some time its our intention to stock Poysers with a quantity of roach and bream.
The reason for this is that the carp in Poysers are getting to big for this pond and becoming stunted – also the Pride Lake will benefit from some new stock of younger fish. It was always intended that Poysers would be a silver fish fishery in the main so that our members can enjoy this venue – some carp will remain in the pond but will be limited to the smaller fish.
