Thanks for the replies chaps. I now have 3 endorsements for the 2.75 TC being adequate for Grimshaws.
Would I be correct in thinking that a 3lb+ TC would only be a benefit to me if a longer cast/heavier load is required (PVA bag, 3oz lead)
I’ve just got to source the rods now and hope they are adequate for the France next year, but its all part of the learning process, and I could hire rods there if I feel outgunned.
