Thanks for the info Jeff I will keep trying and let you know how I get on. Whats it like at cats corner? Never tried it. If I’m there and see the big bivvy I will come and say hi.

Well Dan, as you come into the place where the barrier is, just to the left you have ” beach “. Further
up on the bank closest tp Pride/ Olvers you got ” peek-a-boo ” that’s set in the trees. as you come round the road you have ” Trent Bank ”
Then you round the corner up to the swim with the lopped tree leaving just a trunk at the edge of the water, that
is called ” Stump “. Further along you get the point which you can fish either side of the lake because the land juts out in a narrow strip and
almost splits the lake in two. Then right at the end where the last corner you can reach by road, that is “Catfish corner ”

Have you heard of or seen anything come out lately? I don’t know anything about the stock in there other than what has been said on here.

No one really knows. There are people who have seen quite a few carp during spawning. I have
seen photos of three separate fish from three different anglers most impressive largest being almost forty Lbs

Do you know what size the cats go to?

I think Ian Hole said they have been out up to the sixty mark, but I have a feeling Redhouse could throw up an unknown fish or two
    cats included.

Probably be between the 16/21st of this month depending on the weather. With being retired I proffer to
go mid week this way I can get where I want and once the bivvy is up I will usually stay for a reasonable
length of time, perhaps a week or more depending when I get fed up.I now have to travel from West Bridgford
however I do have my little helper to come and give me a hand to set up. She then stays for a while and
returns to help me ship out.
And you Dan, when are you next on there?
