Ully Gully is good for putting out a couple of deadbait rods, and pretty much any slack water on the Trent for the same.

Not fished for Chub but maybe the Derwent around church wilne could be good, lots of features and gravel shallows that likely attract Chub.

Thanks!! Trying lure fishing this year so been having a some success with perch off the canals. I’ve been thinking about the river near grimleys pond. Sorry quite new to the area so not sure what thats called. Just something different with lures, so trying for other species now. Any tips from anyone would be great!! Much appreciated!!

Hi Ian. Would it be ok for me to ring you at some point. I am in Stockport and would appreciate a little information before my first trip to red house
