Had a 36 hour session on red house starting on Thursday 8.09.2016.
Arrived at the lake around 1.30pm had a little walk around decided on swim along ambush alley, so returned to the van and barrowed the kit down. By 15.30pm I had my clutches round this great looking mirror which weighed in at 26lb 4oz was just wondering if this is a known fish.

Yes I’m debuting if to do a night on redhouse or grimeshaw tommrow night . The thing is I no redhouse if you hook into one it’s going to be a good fish . And I don’t no about you but when you get a fish out of redhouse the feeling good is amazing as I no a few people that have fished it for years never had a thing

Yeah mate I agree it’s a good feeling! Grimshaws is ok but for me it has to be redhouse.
I love the lake and I like the fact that it is a tough water. The more you go the more you learn, but I understand it’s nice to know that you’re going to get a bend in your rod and there are some nice looking fish in there.

I was on red house yesterday I had 1 liner .
Like you I must say I love the feeling of redhouse the unexpected and there is so much to learn on there . Shame it couldn’t be stocked a bit .

A new lake record for the Redhouse Lake was caught by Ryan Bisal -of Netbusters on his first visit to Redhouse lake on his new Pride of Derby ticket- the fish caught on the 15th October was this stunning common carp of weight 46 lbs 2oz – congratulations Ryan but i must tell you not every visit will be like this ?

Great fish out of Redhouse – caught by Simon Davies on 11th May – 35 lbs 10 oz linear Mirror carp – noted as a very powerful fish and in great condition.

    Well done Simon
