We fished Saturday night also but nothing to show for our efforts, I know 3 fish cam out Friday night and I was fishing the same area but nowt. That’s fishing 🙂

Give it another couple of weeks I think, that wind was a bit cold for me 🙂

Hi yes I heard 3 had come out on Friday night I decided to fish a few pegs back towards the gate from that swim right on the wind,2 weeks ago I fished on the back of the wind at the gate end the two swims looking down the lake and had a nice 10 lb common was well chuffed as it was a very cold frosty night bloody strange creatures theses carp are mate!!roll on the warmer weather.

I was just up the bank from you then with a couple of other blokes, 3 of us fished Saturday and 2 of us Saturday night through to Sunday. Will wait for it to warm up a bit I think…

Iv just got in from a night on grimshaws Scott and iv just blanked again!!think the carp in there have gone on there holidays to find some sunshine.

They will start to switch on soon I’m sure, if not already now its warmed up a bit. Another few weeks I reckon 🙂

Grimshaws has started to fish well over the last week. Even in the strong wind today I managed to net 3. I managed to beat my grimshaws PB by getting a 15lb common carp that was in cracking condition

Just a couple from the weekend, young lad is getting used to handling the fish and how to do it safely. Had a great session, banked 5 and lost 3 🙁
