I think the sign you have seen refers to the Carp retention nets that are in the water.
It used to say that any Carp over 8lbs is to be placed in these nets, (for removal into the larger waters), and a Bailiff informed. (Mon to Fri only).

Weekend angling on Poysers is allowed, (unless the rules have changed in the last week), although sometimes the pond gets closed in Summer for a day, to allow junior anglers and beginners to have an introduction to angling.

No rule changes – you are right Numpty the sign indicating Monday to Friday is in reference to the notice concerning the carp retention nets. Fishing on all of our waters is for full weeks unless we put up a notice specifically advised otherwise.

If your schedule is mainly Monday to Friday, it’s worth checking whether the membership or permit allows weekday-only access or if there are any restrictions during peak periods. A weekday option can be ideal if you prefer quieter sessions and have weekends tied up.
