Thanks Ian, Here’s a Comma butterfly spotted on an Olvers blackberry bush this evening (Grimshaws car park swim). Apparently unlike 3/4 of British butterflies which are in decline, this species has increased in number by over 30% in the last 10 years. I saw three of them.

Hi Andy. That’s a cracking picture again, saw you down there yesterday on Olvers back-bank. And yes it was a bit windy…!!

Round Robin. Lives on Olvers in Grimshaw car park corner. Seems to have found enough to eat over the winter.

I think these are willow buds on Olvers. Early signs that Spring is coming.
