To all of our members who have been experiencing difficulties when accessing our land and fishing rights on the River Trent at the back of the Harrington Arms. Firstly I want to apologise on behalf of the directors that you have had to endure unnecessary intimidation and harassment doing what you are perfectly entitled to do. We have been dealing with this and the matter is in the hands of our solicitors. It is imperative that you continue to use this section of the river but please report to us any harassment or intimidation by others when entering or leaving this section. We have the absolute legal rights to use this section of river ! We hope for a swift resolution.
On another note, Green King are rolling out ANPR across their pubs the Harrington Arms included. This means that number plates will be recorded driving onto their carpark off the main road and cancelled out if our anglers drive through the gate onto the field (2nd camera) please be aware that vehicles staying on the pub carpark will get a ticket if they do not use the restaurant/pub facilities.
