    Hi Lee
I was in the next peg and watched you play that 7LB Tinca. Well done.

Just under 6lb, caught on float fished worm and sweetcorn cocktail. Caught at the river end as it narrows.

1st time on ully gully and I smash my pb tench! 7lb 4oz.
Looks like the same fish as previously posted on here at just under 7lb, with half a tail and a stubby face. Well chuffed with it.

Pics taken on my phone with a 10sec timer for the selfie. So that’s why it’s a bad pic

Nice one. what method / area of the gully did you get it on?

Lee, the half tailed Tench looks a bit battled scarred. My guess is that it has had a lucky escape from a predator. I wonder what that could have been???

Jason. I caught it on double pop up corn 3 pegs down from the narrow end. Close in near the lilies. Cracking fight!
There’s quite a few pike in there and they go over 20lb apparently so easily old be one of those.
I don’t think the lake is protected by the new otter fence so good fish I there might have their days numbers if one turns up. 🙁

Thanks for the info – it all goes to making an overall picture of the place.

Have lure fished ully gully a few times, had jacks out of there but nothing big – will be trying it this winter to see if there are any big girls in there.

Yea I’ll be after some of the pike too.
No problem Jason. That’s what the forum should be all about. Helping each other catch more fish. 🙂

    Tight lines!
