    Me and the lad had a good weekend on Olvers, fish where being a bit tricky to catch so had to work hard to get the fish in the net. Managed 11 fish in total including 2 20’s. Here’s a picture of the 29lb 8oz mirror…:-) & 21lb 10oz Mirror

    Very pleased with this one. My first time out this year – just a few hours on Olvers and was lucky enough to land this lovely mirror in its winter colours – just under 31lb. Great start to the season so excuse the cheesy grin! Thanks to my neighbours for weighing and photographing the fish,

    Just had this massive perch out of Olvers. Well over 20lb. Think it might be a lake record.

    “Wow” Andy I’ve never seen that one before, what strange markings…!! Don’t think that’s been caught before do you…?
