Do you find it easier to wade out to place your bait? As I’ve seen a lot of people doing this on redhouse?

I cant say that I have caught from wading out, I do know that a few of the lads have caught by doing so on the shallows/peekaboo and the point. Ill be honest with you, all my fish have come from within 30 yards of a bank. Even had them from right in close next to the reeds ๐Ÿ™‚

Never done anything at distance but that’s not to say they are not catchable from the middle

Your welcome Dan, I think it’s great that there is now a decent dedicated forum for Pride. I don’t mind sharing 90% of what I know and I hope it helps you and others that visit these pages. And people will start to post more info ๐Ÿ™‚

Its mainly about time and effort, the more you visit the water the more you see and learn. The more effort you put in to making that time available and not just dropping in the easiest to get to swim ๐Ÿ™‚ the results will start to come and I have noticed that in my own fishing even more so on redhouse and waters with similar difficulty.

Be in the new year now Dan, having one more over nighter before Christmas as a social with a relative on Grimshaws lake this Friday night. Off up to the northern angling show on Sunday which should be good.

Will fish redhouse Jan, Feb and March if weather, family and work permit. Got pads lake on yateley booked for a 48 hr session with a few mates mid April then back on Redhouse till June. See if I get the premium ticket and make a decision from then ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyone got any more up to date info to pass on? We are not in the 1970/80s now so need for Secret Squirrel stuff (don’t want everything laid out on a plate just some more up to date info as a lot can change in a few years!). I know that if anybody asks me any info & I can help, I will be the first to offer it (other than telling people where I have been baiting so they don’t sheep me up at my expense!). Kettles always on for info ๐Ÿ˜‰

You will struggle for help info tips as this forum doesnโ€™t get used much pal.if you listen to the info on the bank you will have to cast long and close in put loads of bait in but bait very lightly.use the boilie approach but use spod mix, small baits and big baits.this is what Iโ€™ve heard on the bank so I think itโ€™s an edge your bets place and hopefully you will get a bite or find what works for you or the peg weather conditions.iv not caught enough or fished it enough to give much info that will help.
