In my view this will be a good thing for the fishery as a whole. Specially after the floods. It gives everything chance to get back to normal and the fish get a well deserved rest. I’m just looking at it as if it was the old closed season. But don’t get me wrong I’m itching to get the rods out when the time is right.

Might be worth buying a marker float kit for around £10 and finding the exact depths where you want to fish your rods mate.
