Not had much luck at Red House but am reliably informed that if you can find about 10′ of water put a bed of hemp and corn out and watch the fizz.

Grimshaws has massive perch, I caught several trying to catch Roach in the autumn. Had a net of them some up to 2 plus lb. The Bream are a bit more tricky, they are there and I have had some decent ones on method feeder but the carp tend to come in if you fish pellets and the roach do if you fish anything else. Its tricky but great fun all the same.

It’s a fantastic mixed fishery. Don’t get put off by the bivvys, the tench, perch, Bream and especially the roach fishing is brilliant once you work it out but you do have to put a few hours in first

    Hello mate.

Redhouse is a very easy lake in terms of access etc. There is a large grass car park at the furthest point from the gate and ample parking everywhere else but make sure you don’t park on the grass where the signs are. The east side of the lake needs a walk but the pegs are mostly nice and comfortable.

If you catch any Bream let me know where you caught them!

Has anyone fished the part between the last lock and the Trent? Fancy giving that a crack

What other stocks of fish did you find in Poysers that you left there?

Don’t suppose there is any change to the current guidelines?

I suppose if you wanted to fish the canal section you could just part in the marina?
