Is it a long walk from the car park? Was there many pegs you can fish or was it overgrown?

All being said the fact is this otter has been seen regularly now at all times of the day in the same place not up and down the stretch!! not many people fish these pegs but those that do regard it as the “hot spot” but unfortunately fish have become hard to find there already I can’t even imagine what it will be like in a few years time. I know some stretches in the country have been wiped out by otters, let’s just hope we don’t lose our stretch.

You take what I said out of context…never claimed to be a great fisherman & do not have anything against bivvys i have a very nice bivvy that I love using while sitting behind my rods.
When I first fished there I was suprised with the way some people fished grimshaws (specimen carp approach) when it’s not that sort of water in 22yrs of fishing I’ve never seen a water like grimshaws fished this way imagine showing up at your local carp water for a good days fishing catching low doubles or smaller and everyone’s there with 2 bivvys each, 20 kilo of bait, bait boats etc etc… that’s not fun it’s ridiculous but as you say each to there own.

Thanks mate…I know people cast to far bank I was thinking of fishing around that side in margins would you recommend trying that?
