Hi Numpty. As you know we had Several Fox’s on our Main Complex at one time, Unfortunately these sadly perished on the frozen lakes. Following this we installed the Otter Fencing which prevented other Fox’s gaining entry to our waters. The idea of Chicken Wire being attached to the Otter Fence to contain the Rabbits would be the solution, however this would not be within the law due to the lakes being situated on a Flood Plain. Thank you for your comments and idea’s which are much appreciated. Regards Ian

Hi Guy’s. With regards to Bream in Grimshaws and Redhouse Lakes to my knowledge the Record Bream from Grimshaws is 15Ib-05oz and Redhouse has produced a Bream at 19Ib-10oz. this is some time ago and there are reports of Bream coming from Redhouse in the lower 19Ib. Hope this is of some help. Ian

Hi Andy. (Sorry for the late reply)
Yes as you state in your post the hook baits you described are fine. However Particles are currently Banned on Pride Lake / Olvers Lake and Grimshaws Lake until further notice. If there are any changes to these rules you will be notified via our Website. Ian

    Hi Andy.
If you take a look at Rule-No 35 in your Season Ticket it states that (The use of Maggots of any form) are not allowed on Pride and Olvers Lakes at any time. Regards Ian

Hi Rich. Thank you for your suggestion regarding Grass Carp for Grimleys Ponds. This was looked into several years ago but unfortunately these ponds are situated on a Floodplain so sadly not allowed i’m afraid “great idea though” The introduction of small Tench can be raised at our next Directors Meeting for discussion.
    Many thanks Ian
