Happy New Year to you Alan. The Premium Ticket went to 200 in 2013, no plans at this point in time increase the numbers. Like I said its a pity you didn’t join 4 x weeks earlier then you would have been offered one last June. However at least your at the pointed-end now eh..!! See you soon. Ian

Hi Alan. Just read your entry, you joined the Pride of Derby on 27th July 2011, and you are currently at No-20 on the waiting list..!! Always best to join before the end of June as you then benefit by moving up the list on the 1st of July when the Waiting list is amended. If you had done this you would have been offered a Premium Ticket last year.

Yes that is o/k as long as they stay with you at all times, we wouldn’t want them wandering around on their own. If they were to be stopped by a Pride of Derby Bailiff they would be asked to produce a valid season ticket or leave the premises. If you have any queries please give me a call.

If you would like to introduce your friend to the Pride of Derby, with the possibility of them becoming a member, then yes you can apply for a Complimentary Ticket. All we require is your Name and Ticket number and the area you want to fish, also the persons name who you are taking. Please note the Complimentary Ticket must be returned immediately after use. Think it’s a matter finding the fish first, maybe a quiet walk round may help. Always plenty of fish patrolling the Nature Resurve bank. Would suggest a different bait for change, what about some of the old fashioned bait, Lob-Worm / Luncheon meat or even Maize or Bread..!! There are some beautiful fish showing in Grimshaws Lake, find your spot and stay quiet. Hope some of this works o/k, ian

Hi Jeff. Ref our telephone conversation last night regarding Guest ticket for the Premium waters. I would just like to make it clear that there are NO guest tickets for the Premium Water only the Standard Ticket waters, this is a Complimentary Ticket held by the Pride of Derby Officials. The Pride of Derby Directors hold their own ticket, which can be loaned to their friends and family only. I hope this answers your query..!!. Regards Ian

Largest Bream recorded was at 19Ib-10oz caught from the back bank next to the Flood Bank adjacent Olvers Lake. This fish came out 3 x years ago. Ian
